In [[EM.Libera]], you can define simple lumped elements in a similar manner as gap sources. In fact, a lumped element is equivalent to an infinitesimally narrow gap that is placed in the path of the current, across which Ohm's law is enforced as a boundary condition. You can define passive RLC lumped elements or active lumped elements containing a voltage gap source. The latter case can be used to excite a wire structure or metallic strip and model a non-ideal voltage source with an internal resistance.
